About the MBSA
For over thirty (30) years, the MBSA or Modular Building Systems Association, has been representing the modular housing industry in a variety of capacities. Headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania the association has members and affiliates throughout the United States and truly fosters the exchange of information and innovation in the modular industry.
For Construction Professionals
Manufacturer, Builder/Developer, Supply & Service Company, Design Professional, Real Estate Agent
The MBSA works for the modular industry on areas of state and national legislation relative to transportation issues, code compliance, product classification, education and training and much, much more. Through MBSA meetings, seminars and training events, social networking, and ongoing discussion suppliers, manufacturers, builders, developers, design professionals all share technology and important business information as well as industry trends.
For the Home Buyer
The MBSA works as a communication channel for the homebuyer to potential homebuilders. A potential homebuilder can use the MBSA as a resource for locating and contacting approved MBSA members to purchase their home. By actively promoting builders/manufacturers by geographic trade area the MBSA fosters a strong link for the consumer when making a home building decision.
Mission Statement of the MBSA
"The mission of the Modular Building Systems Association (MBSA) is to be the primary organization advancing the legislative and regulatory interests of the modular industry in the United States. The MBSA strives to increase awareness of the value of modular construction by consumers, suppliers, builders, government officials, and other publics; it advocates public policies that make modular building systems available on a cost-effective basis. The MBSA serves as a forum where members, suppliers, and builders work together for the purpose of fostering the exchange of information and innovation in the modular industry."

History of the MBSA
