The Modular Building Systems Association (MBSA) in cooperation with the American Wood Council of the American Forest and Paper Association will be sponsoring a series of two day seminars in both Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Manchester, New Hampshire. The seminars will be held on June 23-24, 2004 in Harrisburg, PA at the Wyndham Harrisburg-Hershey and on July 7-8, 2004 in Manchester, NH at the Executive Court Conference Center.

These seminars are designed to ensure modular manufacturer compliance with the preliminary guidelines of the third party plan review pilot program set forth by the New York Department of State. These seminars are open to both MBSA members as well as non-members and everyone is welcome to register and attend regardless of whether they work in the modular housing industry. The cost per seminar is $95 for MBSA members and $150 for non-members. A continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided each day as part of your registration fee and a special room rate is available at each facility for seminar attendees.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU’s) will be issued for attendance at the seminars in accordance with the American Forest & Paper Association’s accreditation with AIA, AIBD, and IACET. The format of each two day seminar will be as follows:

Wood Design with the International Codes

Day 2
Design of Wood Frame Buildings for High Wind, Snow and Seismic Loadings
