MHBA's December 2016 Modular Home of the Month Winner Offers Crafty Lake Views

LAKE GEORGE, NY – The December 2016 Modular Home of the Month from the Modular Home Builders Association (MHBA) offers amazing views of Lake George in New York.

Saratoga Modular Homes created this craftsman-style home to sit in the Adirondacks. With spacious land surrounding this picturesque home, the owners created a customized home that met all their family needs.

The 3,000-square-foot home presents a craftsman exterior of stone and natural materials that embrace the simplicity of the waterfront land. The open porch invites guests in to a warm foyer that features dark woodwork that is consistent through the home. The foyer opens into an open floor plan that features 1 of 2 beautiful stone fireplaces with reclaimed timber mantles. The spacious living room opens onto the large kitchen that is perfect for entertaining with a large marble countertop island.

The first floor also has the master suite with elegant features including the second fireplace and a custom tile shower in the en suite bathroom. Heading up the stairs to a loft balcony overlooking the living room, 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms have custom stained doors in the same dark wood found throughout the home. After relaxing in these cozy bedrooms, the home offers a composite deck and screened porch perfect for enjoying the calmness of the lake.

The Modular Home of the Month showcase is an opportunity for MHBA member companies to display their projects to architects, engineers, contractors, developers, owners, students, and more. MHBA selects one home each month to be featured on social media and our website.
